Is Techron still considered one of the more effective additives?

I've seen several different MSDSs for Techron. One just lists ordinary solvents: Stoddard, naphtha, etc. -- no trade secret or proprietary ingredients listed. Seems expensive for just thinner.

I ask because it's on sale at a major auto parts chain about 40% off Wally.

The new labeling rules permitted companies to omit the proprietary
ingredient as long as it is not toxic (PEA is not toxic)

So which auto parts place are you speaking of?

I hope it's OK to say: Advance, $8 for 20oz. Also Gumout AIO **$8 for 10oz [Maybe a typo in their circular as the website only lists 6oz -- sorry.].

True, but all the chemists say PEA is best.

Techron is still good, but I never buy it at Wally, just wait for sale and grab few bottles. I have 10+ bottles of gum out regane HM from the Home Depot $1/bottle sale. I don't know which is better.
