Vacuum Tester to bleed brakes

I want to test for vacuum leaks too on my car (at least the hoses) so this brake bleeder has a double use.

How many ml of brake fluid is there roughly between BMC and brake caliper?
I assume ideally I will buy some odd color brake fluid so I can see when the new stuff is coming through?

The amount of fluid is different for every vehicle. I personally will suck the master reservoir dry, fill that with clean fluid, then fill my auto filler, usually around a litre or so.

You can probably get the ATe blue brake fluid down in the land of cricket and kangaroos, but in the US the brake fluid has to have that clearish amber coloring. I just take flush the fluid until it looks clean. My cars have Speed Bleeders on each caliper, so after flushing I follow up with that style of bleed to get the pedal where I want it.
