I just got a clone engine from harbor fright its the 420 variant it has a huge rectangle valve cover instead of the typical Honda looking one anyone have any info on these

We put harbor freight 212cc engines on our doodlebug minibikes and the difference between the normal valve cover and the one you are referring to is that they are known as "Hemi" engines. They have bigger valves and are a lot more responsive. The difference between a hemi vs non hemi is night and day on our bikes.

Like this one? Like said above, probably a different head design.

That's kind of neat. I haven't seen one of these engines with the larger, squared-off rocker covers yet. Really neat if indeed they're better/more powerful with the same fuel consumption.
