Thanks to Hokiefyd for doing the cutting and also to Quattro Pete for posting the pics.
Also i want to add that the car this filter was on is a '06 Sentra with 148K miles on it.

Fram Ultra is all I use now. Great quality and the ability to go two oil changes on one filter make it a no brainer. That filter looks like it could go another 15,000 miles.

That is awesome.. My 6607 has 10,000 miles on it and ready to go 15k. Still, that is a small filter

The filter is about 2 3/4 inches high.
The Sentra takes 3 quarts of oil.
Apparently this combo works as I am pushing 150K miles.
And the motor still runs strong and sounds good.

That's really good to hear. My old 95 Sentra went 240,000 miles with very few problems. Have you drained and filled your CVT yet??
Also, our nation wouldn't be what it is without people like you serving and protecting it. Semper Fi

Looks good i am using a couple of fram ultra's with nothing negative to report as of yet. I will cut them open at around 10,000-15,000 mile mark.
I would never buy any other fram filter but wanted to check this filter out that everyone here was talking about. So far i like it.We switched to Wix at the shop, we used to use purolater but switched to a better filter when everyone was reporting the tears found in purolater. My go to filter now is the napa gold but the ultra may replace that soon as long as the price does not go UP.

It does not have a CVT. Just a regular 4 speed automatic.
But I have done 2 drain and fills with synthetic fluid.
Much better cold weather shifting until it warms up.
