This is the Motorcraft FL500S off my 2011 F150 5.0L with about 8000 miles and QSUD. Looks good to me- nice tight pleats, seams in tact and no tears noted and the ADBV was nice and soft. As you can see, I have...crude...methods.
Yup. I've started cutting them open at the base plate crimp to check for the purolator tearing that has been seen around. This is the 2nd or 3rd one I've done and so far so good.
