Brazing, nope, not in my experience.

Mapp on really thin stuff I've pulled off

Soldering, I've done a couple of times, but it's not typically keen to bond to steel, so I've copper coated it before to get adhesion.

Soldering sheet metal is easy, thicker stuff not so, that's why you step up to the next level - solder, silver solder, brazing and finally welding.

Aladdin 3in1 rod has been around just about forever. Lots of recent copies of the product have popped up in the last 10 years and they all do about the same. Great for quick repairs and people who don't have a tig welder. Stuff is fairly easy to use and cheap enough to keep around.

Just checked their site and they do custom branding as well, there's a good chance many of these products are all the same.
