Gosh I love 'Merika.

Just got a prescription for an acne cream with benzoyl peroxide and a super rare unicorn year delivered antibiotic additive called Clindamycin.

25gram jar makes 50grams when mixed by pharamacist. $379. THE SIZE OF A TUBE OF TRAVEL TOOTHPASTE.

We have "Cadillac Insurance" at least our governor says. With a $6k deductible. Which we never reach.

Anybody have a cheaper source for this? Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel (aka: Benzaclin)
NDC # is 0378-8688-54

Unless clindamycin really is a super rare unicorn tears product..... I smell a [censored] scam.

Call your doctor's office and see if they have a discount coupon for it or if there is another medicine they can prescribe you.

The police, firefighters and city workers where I live pay $5 for a 30 day supply of a name brand drug RX, $3 for generic.

What is causing the acne? Try some original gold Dial soap. Use it for a month and report back. Helped my brother with a bad skin condition. Worked much better than going to the dermatologist monthly.

Drink lots of water, avoid fatty dairy like milk and cheese.

Dark chocolate is good for skin along with a bunch of other foods like cantaloupe, blueberries etc...

My kid burned himself and got a tube of SILVER cream for $17. Freaking silver, for less than you paid!

I've had on and off acne all my life. If all else fails, go paleo. Stop washing your face with any soaps and don't' use any harsh acne medications. You might be surprised at the results. Sometimes benzyl peroxide washes work for me, other times it makes it worse. When it gets worse, I stop washing my face with anything for a week or 2 and it clears right up.

It's true about drinking lots of water, and also do NOT rub and scrub your face! It actually promotes increased pore activity by irritation. Best to gently rinse your face off letting the water and a very gentile facial cleanser do the work. Good luck.

The U.S people pay for the rest of the socialists worlds freebees. The voters are stupid [not my words]

The taxpayer covers the balance.

Have you tried the Canada pharmacies online? My mother in law uses them and also my wife used them. The discount are quite deep.

I used Benzaclin for quite a while and it works. I would put it on before bed after a shower when my skin was just barely damp. I would only use a tiny bit at a time and the jar would last over a year.

Be sure to keep it closed tightly and in the fridge. If it dries out you can mix in a little rubbing alcohol.

How old is the user? The best face soap for me is Cetaphil Daily Facial Clenser. Just use a tiny bit and put it on your face while rinsing it off in the shower. Don't use a lot and don't scrub it in.

No reason it should be that expensive. Clindamycin is an old antibiotic that is usually used for dental procedures such as root canals and dental abscesses.

Did you price multiple pharmacies? Also, it's not clear from your post do you have prescription coverage as part of your plan? If so does the pharmacy have your coverage information to apply the appropiate plan discount? Even though you have to a hit the deductible for coverage to kick in you can still be eligible for a plan discount price if the category is covered.

Did a quick search trying to help..and it got worse..Clindamycin is the generic name of the prescription drug Cleocin..so that is the generic pricing..oh boy. And it is a very powerful drug..be careful!

We have a similar nonsense "Cadillac healthplan" since Jan. 1..high deductibles..totalitarian pharma benefits(you have to buy your drugs from the third party administrator after 3 months)..and if you get really sick the deductibles will put you in bankruptcy..because you are not working.

What happens when the government gets involved..you wont see many members of congress with the same healthplans the "common folk" have to live with.

How do you expect the reps to make any money?
Bondo hardener has loads of Benzoyl Peroxide in it.

Some of my prescription pharmaceuticals are quite pricey while others (generics) are practically on par with with aspirin.

Clearasil's marketing campaign = "would you rather have a few more cents or a few less zits?"
