After cleaning my guns, I just use some dish soap on my hands. (This is the GUN forum)

I use dawn dish soap and if I need some mechanical scrubbing power I just use one of those 3m Blue scratch free pads. Not much harder on the hands than pumice.

I typically have Gojo orange or Fast orange at the house. The best hand cleaner I have ever tried is Kresto, hands down.

I wear latex gloves when working on most greasy stuff. otherwise I use dish soap. Whatever brand the wife has on hand.

I just use my spray bottle of concentrated orange citrus cleaner or Greased Lightening.

I honestly think Dawn is over-rated on grease.

A little pricy but my parents have it at their home. Someone gave it to them as a gift. Save some money and get the refill. William Sonoma soap:

They also have great hot chocolate using shaved pieces of chocolate instead of powdered cocoa. Don't see it on the site now so it's prob seasonal.

The absolute best IMO is Vibra-Kleen. The two tuffest stains for me are chain lube and finger print ink and VK removes them with ease.
