Replaced 8 pieces of plywood.
All the tar paper and drip rail are on now. Architectural shingles tomorrow. It was 92 here today. I am beat!

Must have faith in your sheathing, so you don't shoot bullets through a thin spot and nick that caddy.

Architectural shingles are fun in a weird kinda way.

Roof I did on the main house.

I am drip edging the barn too. The previous owner did not.

The old roof.
Has to be over 2000lbs of material. My 3/4 is actually squatting ever so slightly out back!

Next is the door, which I have and then paint it to match the house.

Nice job.

I've attempted to walk on my roof, can handle the 30deg stuff, but the 45's are way past my tolerance. My wife thinks nothing of it...

Shingles cut and fold better when they're hot. Sure, that's miserable, but you can get the most amazing (reflective) sunburns working metal roofing.

They do, but during the spring or early fall makes it a [censored] of a lot easier on me. Just like painting exterior work, spring and early fall, unless there's a cool spell expected during the summer.

Metal roofing, I can only imagine.

I just had my roof done. I was surprised that they all used hammers instead of an air gun.

Probably had a good sized crew...I have me and a dude I am paying to help me! Well here I go, back at it. 745 in the morning here. I hope to be done by 4pm...Wish me luck. I would not say I am old...40, but this roofing stuff is a young mans game!

Dump weight slip.

My awesome wife unloaded this all by herself...5.6 115lbs.

8200 net! That is 1000 lbs under the rated 9200. 6020 empty.

Nice work there Mike! Been there. Done that. Sweated out multiple t-shirts until I just stopped wearing one. Builder (30yrs ago) used no drip edge nor flashing anywhere. Cheap $%^#!. I also had to repair several places with rotted wood. Sure glad that's over.......
