Agreed that Mobil 1 is good stuff and will serve your new jack well. I have 3 floor jacks and never greased any of them. Oldest one is about 35 years old. Never had any problems. Also, if you want a really, really, really high quality jack, buy a Milwaukee. Without a doubt the best jack you can roll under a vehicle. Use it once and you'll immediately see the difference. They're pricey alright, but your grandkids will be using it long after you're gone.
