Yes, red circled hose. No it won't create any problems. What that does is disables the computer from limiting boost when traction control is activated, top speed limiter activated, and limits to 30% maximum boost in reverse.

You are only disabling the boost control solenoid by allowing the boost bypass valve no computer intervention.
 
This is just to test the boost bypass solenoid. If you get full/normal boost then you need a solenoid.
