Motul 5000

Hi Guys , I am new to this ,I am coming up to my first oil change on my Suzuki SVF 650 (600 MI) and wonder what you guys would recommend at the service point,Suzuki recommend SJ 10w 40 MA.
Motul 5000 semi has been upgraded to SL MA2 now actually better than the old SJ Spec.I do not see the advantage of full synth as 12 months and 3500 mi schedule for next change would be due.I cannnot find any posts on Motul 5000 UOA.

No experience with 5000, but 5100 10w-40 gave me really notchy shifts and lots of false neutrals within 2000 km's, would not recommend it. Motul is the most hyped oil around here, since then I think it's just overpriced junk.
Using the oil in my signature now, 5000 km into the OCI and shifts as smooth as butter. Great add pack, great price. 3500 miles OCI doesn't require synthetic. That engine has been around forever, it will give you great service life on dino.
