I'm a huge rock fan, and pretty well any guitar solo works for me!
Fave is EHV; anything he does...but some 'noteable' ones are 'Sinners Swing' and 'Hot for Teacher'..
Suprised Randy Rhoads hasn't been mentioned much; one of my all-time faves is his solo in 'Over the Mountain'...I love solo's where the rest of the band goes quiet, and it's just the guitarist...like the rest of the band is saying 'watch this guy go!'
For that reason, 'Heatbreaker' by Led Zep is awesome too...
