Hi, I'm a pwc (jetski) mechanic from a salt water region and suspect that there is something better out there.
PWC are notorious for stripping the impeller spline due to water intrusion, and frankly, owners not servicing them at regular intervals. They are quite poorly sealed and subject to high velocity salt water running past them. Kawasaki reccommends using silicone sealant as a spline grease but as it is not a lubricant, I think this is rediculous.
I have tried multiple marine greases over 30+ yrs and the best I have found so far is Shell truck and farm. It is like melted mozzerela cheese and half works.
I am thinking a grease with high anti washout about the viscosity of play doh.
Does anyone make something similar?
Thanks.
