Hi, about time to change oil on my 15 GSA. Manual calls for 5W40 ,API SL, JASO MA2. I shortlisted 4 oils which i intended to choose one for my next oil change. They are:

1) Mobil 1 Racing 4T - 10W40 , API SN, JASO MA
2) Redline 4T - 10W40 , API SJ, JASO MA
3) Amsoil 4T - 10W40 , API SG, JASO MA2
4) Motul 300V - 5W40, API SL , JASO MA2

Which one will you choose ?? The most expensive is Motul and the cheapest is Mobil 1. Think of using Redline .. Any comments ??

Redline is made in America!

Motul 300V is the real deal, tailor made for the application.

Of course, the GSA won't care which one you use. I would go with Redline because of the made in USA.

Will only use 4T on my GSA. T6 not available in Singapore. In fact ,first 3 of the oils are made in USA.How about that ??

I have a '15 BMW, it's a different model though. I let the Dealer do the first service, with BMW branded oil. But from here on out I plan to do the work myself, and use Motul 300V 4T.

Be aware that some GSA's have had gearbox seal leaks, with bad results. Think gear oil on the rear tire..

Just keep an eye out for it.

I would let the dealer do the first few services with the oil of they're choice so they have it on record in case you have any warranty claims.
