Mytic grease has been phased out of my Walmart and replaced with...gasp...Lucas greases. I am not a fan of anything Lucas (except the racing series), so does anyone know where Mystic is still available? Or Chevron in single tubes? Or comparable, just not Lucas.

Mystic is available at TSC (Tractor Supply Company) stores.

I really can't recall ever having an auto parts failure being lubed regularly with any valvoline grease. Probably goes for just about any grease, though.

Unfortunately, I think it is true. None of the Wal-marts in my area carry Mystik grease anymore. They only have Supertech and Lucas brands now.

[censored] you Wal-Mart! What's next, going to stop carrying Purolator filters and go back to Fram only?

I like the specs of the mystic red tacky grease, and the Chevron EP, and the two are very similar and high quality IMO. I don't think the Supertech is tacky, which is a quality I have come to like. I do have an O'Reillys close, so I'll check that out. Thanks.

OK, just what is the correct spelling of this product? It's driving me nuts!

I've seen four versions in this thread!

Mystic
Mytic
Mistic
Mystik

Yes, the TSC near me is actually closer than the nearest Sino Mart, so the slightly higher price they charge for the JT-6 High Temp is offset by less fuel cost to get there.
