Schaeffer's 9000 5w-30, valve cover was replaced in the beginning of this interval.

What oil was used in the previous interval?

I'm not sure that the Schaeffer 9000 5W30 is LL-01 approved, but it didn't cause a bad report. Was your fuel mileage better this time using this oil?

Is the current fill also Schaeffer 9000 5w30?

It appears that the Schaeffer oil is up to the task. Wear looked in line with the previous intervals, and the TBN held up quite well too.

Only comment I can offer, similar to Blackstone, is the N52 in your BMW seems to show more iron in the UOA. I have '07 525i and '09 328i with the 3.0 N52, and the iron reading in UOA is typically about half for the same mileage intervals. I use Pennzoil Euro 5w40 or Mobil 1 0w40. The number is still fairly small overall, and probably nothing to worry about.

Thanks for posting the UOA!
