electric pool pump motor noisey

I just opened our pool and the pump motor is noisey, it almost sounds like a bad bearing. It was quiet when I closed the pool. Is this a servicable item as if it is a bearing it probably wontmlast too long. It is running fine rane it for about 6 hours today. This is the motor we have.

Could be a bearing in the pump too.

It could be the impeller or debris?

Yup..is it the pump or motor? I wold just replace both..life is to short. If its say 10 years old just get the package deal..filter/pump/motor.

Disassemble it and take a look a the bearings - they should have part numbers on them.

If it's a standard bearing, it should be a cheap fix ($20 or less).

Lowes and Ace Hardware have decent selections of bearings.
