Pennzoil Ultra (non PurePlus) - oil consumption ?

Just wondering if anyone switch to PU and having increase on oil consumption ?

No, oil consumption after my switch from other stout oils, such as Driven LS30 and GC, was about the same.

Recently changed the oil in my Crown Vic with Pennzoil Ultra 5w-20 from Mobil-1 5w-20. No consumption at all. Some slightly with Mobil-1? Go figure

Mobil 1 is well known for consumption, many posts about it on here and that was my experience as well when I tried it. General consensus is that the consumption will taper off with continued use.

I've experienced decreasd consumption on 5w-30, especially compared to Mobil1. about .5quarts over the 7500miles versus 1.5quarts.

My M5 used a bit more PU 5w-40 than it did M1 0w-40 (2L per 10,000Km vs 1L over the same OCI) and similar with the Expedition with PU 5w-30 at 1L per 12,000Km vs nothing over 12,000Km with AFE 0w-30.
