I spoke with someone at Mobil and they told me the TBN was between 9 and 10. I wonder about the accuracy of these reports.

The newer formulations are lower the amount of metallic additives for reduced sulfated ash, which is important for some of the newer DI engines.

The days of 3k+ calcium are slowly going away.
