Handy tip to help deal with any CEL problem

Yes, yes I do know this is not the right way to handle a CEL code...

I just thought it was slightly humorous, esp. since the sticker has a chihuahua on it.
 
I usually just take the bulb out while I have the cluster removed to roll the odometer back.

If you've been around a chihuahua you would realize the CEL is less annoying.

Yup, and you can;t just take the bulb out either. Part of the test is to make sure that the light comes on and off when starting the car.

Wire it up with the oil light. Key on, light on. Car running, light off.

I know you are kidding but it will be little difficult to design your own circuit behind the OBD2 DLC so that DMV's scanner will be happy!
