Honda A01 14,226mi. (2 OCI) Cut Open

Oil filter for my '07 Element. The first 6,037mi (-137mi OLM) were with M1 0W20 AFE ( UOA ), the remaining 8,189mi (-1,601mi OLM) was on QSUD 0W20 (UOA in the mail).

Filter looked to be in fine shape, pleats slightly wavy, but still even. End caps still glued and valve was pliable. I'll probably continue one filter for two OCIs, and assuming the UOA comes back reasonable, I'll maintain 8k+ per OCI. I might go further since my I poured in M1 0W20 EP. I put back on another A01 filter.

The filter condition clearly shows that Honda is right in recommending 1 filter for OCI's.

I used 1 filter(various low-end name brands) for 2 OCI's with dino up to 7-9k each, or 1 OCI with syn oil up to 17-18k in my LS400 sine 1997-1998(4-5 years after I bought it new late 1993). Never cut open filter and didn't do any UOA, but the engine is running very good with no sign of any problem.
