2014 Suzuki V-Strom DL650A L3 - Motorex 4T 15W50

Hi.

This is my fist UOA, for a Motorex 4T 15W50. I suspect it's the semi-syntetic version.

With brand new genuine Suzuki's oil filter and shared sump.

Not usual for a motorcycle to shear oil? They must be drunk. Otherwise nice report, even if it is a 30wt.

Nice report. BTW I wish I could find some cheap 15w50 where i am.
Try 8,500km next if you dont bother ending up with 30wt.

For 6,000 miles looks pretty good, but I would not run longer just cause you can. Looks like a good area to replace, before your flash drops much more. looks like a good place also to keep your metal counts down between changes.

Edit I missed the KM, but all still applies.

typical stoner comments that are completely nonsense.

yes the oil is nicely into the 30wt grade range and they want you to add 25% more kms to it.

low aluminum and copper which is good. iron is decent for that many kms.
but yet shows lead,tin,nickel,manganese

i would not go more than 6000kms on this oil
