Help - what is this item?

I had some contractors doing work at a house I am renovating, and they removed all the cover plates from the switches and receptacles. This was mixed in and I have no idea what it is from.

Its for sliding closet doors i just had to replace one at my daughters house.

Well that makes sense, I had a couple sets of those installed by this contractor. Is this part of the track the doors hang from?

It goes on the floor to keep them from swinging in and out.
