^^^ALL of the NAPAs in my area stock the SynPower.

I use various Amsoil greases mainly, but just wanted to try the JT-6 stuff because of the raves on here (or is that ONLY because of the price/'bang for the buck' factor??

I've made a list of grease guns from Amazon. These are the ones most highly rated, with the ones with more than a few negative reviews omitted from mention:
Legacy L1325 pistol grip $27.36 http://www.amazon.com/Legacy-L1325-12-In...089&sr=1-25
Plews 30-416 Pistol $30.87 http://www.amazon.com/Plews-30-416-Profe...089&sr=1-29
Lincoln lever grip 1147 (flexible hose) $33.88 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002NYDZS/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=
Alemite 555-E Pistol Grip $44.88 http://www.amazon.com/Alemite-555-E-Deve...uct_top?ie=UTF8
John Deere #TY26517 pistol grip $32.23 http://www.amazon.com/John-Deere-Origina...662&sr=1-51
OTC 2304 pistol grip $33.41 http://www.amazon.com/OTC-2304-Professio...662&sr=1-60
MacNaught Flexigun pistol grip $63.50 http://www.lubricationequipmentonline.com/product/K32/Flexigun-Pistol-Grease-Gun-(14.5-oz-cartridge).html

Right now, the only applications I can think of are for the floor jack I'm going to buy (a JEGS 2-ton aluminum), and for various brake parts (even then, I might get by with a 3 oz tube). Seems like I ought to go with the L1325 if I even end up having to buy one. I have an LC Accent; probably doesn't have many parts that require grease. I'm going with Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease for the floor jack--any reason I shouldn't, or something superior to it? I was thinking of Opti-Lube GOLD Severe if I ended up needing a calcium complex low-temp grease, but it's overkill (actually, buying any grease for a jack I don't have is overkill, but I'm trying to be prepared).

Late to the show here, but for the ammunition pressure zerks, I recommend a white lithium grease in one of the inexpensive mini cartridge guns. Other wise, you may stain your casual cloths on the grease that WILL eventually work out of the joints. It only needs to be greased about once per year even if you load 10s of thousands of rounds.

I have a Lincoln pistol grip grease gun I bought several years ago and its great. I use Red Line 80402 Synthetic Grease which seems to be working very well for my King pins and tie rods, etc.

Not sure which gun but it is pistol grip, flex hose and has Mobil 1 grease in it. I tossed an older lever style. I don't use it that often but laying on my back under the Sequoia, holding the end fitting on to the driveshaft zerks, one hand pistol grip to squeeze is MUCH easier to operate.

Try this one. Made in Australia, its said to be top shelf. For the extra $15 over some third world version i would buy it any time.
Grease Gun

For grease Schaeffers is about as good as it gets, the #238 s perfect for chassis fittings.

I got a real old one of these. http://www.lubricationequipmentonline.com/product/K7/Mini-lube%C2%AE-Pump-(For-1-gallon-disposable-containers).html Would be over 40 years old and still works brilliantly.
