Brake Fluid Flush Technique

Flushing any loose junk out of the caliper would be a good first step. Pushing the piston in right away is a good way to get it jammed. There is enough turbulence within the calipers to flush out all the fluid.

You forgot the coolant service! And yes, BG products are a great option and I am surprised they aren't discussed more on here.
