Hi BITOGers! I have a Brave Hiawatha HV-2040 that is slowly leaking the fluid it came with. The Brave website is not helpful as all, and the old user manual they had for download has NO capacities and specifications at all.
Can someone tell me with any certainty what hydraulic fluid it came with?
Where would I buy a new 20 micron filter and replacement fluid?
Can you please describe how to change the fluid out? I might want to go with ATF.
Thanks in advance!

connections, hoses, valve body(spool), and seals are common leak areas. I have a older brave splitter, too. repowered in 2004 by a intek206 5.5hp. I went and replaced a leaking spool this winter with a prince auto cycle double spool. I changed the utto/aw oil mix and switch over to ST atf, I will never use hydro fluid again, -35and below zero, smooth as 80-100 above zero.

mine has a 1/4in plug drain on the tank that I used.
