GnR Appetite for Destruction came to mind first, then Tower of Power Easy Bay Grease.

Someone else said Pearl Jam Ten, I'd also agree with that.

As far as best songs on debut albums, Id say that Bruce Springsteen "spirit in the night" is my top pick, though the album as a whole isn't necessarily my favorite.

I forgot about a KILLER debut lp:

The Doors-"The Doors". Especially the mono pressing. The organ solo in Light My Fire gives me chills every time I hear it,and The Crystal Ship is one of the most beautiful songs ever.

I was just listening to Appetite for Destruction today actually, that's definitely one of the best debut albums ever! I also think Evanescence's Fallen was a fantastic debut, but unfortunately everything they have done since has completely sucked.

Have to agree with what many have said, GNR 'Appetite' is an amazing debut album - every track rocks, and the album never gets old to listen to - still sounds 'fresh' today...
