Need adhesive for windshield trim recommendations

I'm preparing to replace the upper windshield rubber trim and have a question or two. To my understanding, the 3M adhesive products are questionable and the Wurth product line is a better, over the long haul. The rubber is made of EPDM TYPE so which adhesive is the better or best out ther? Also is there anything better than Wurth Clean / Solve as a cleaner prep?
