Hi there

Check out my UOA on my 2013 Jetta GLI using T6. Any opinions / concerns from anyone?

Oils containing a lot of magnesium tend to have good TBN retention. Is that the newer 2.0L TSI engine that holds nearly 7 quarts of oil?

But but but but but.... it's not a spec oil for your VW!!

Nice strong ending TBN, low insols, strong flash, good viscosity, low "wear metals"... can't ask for much more.

T6 is rock solid. Probably better than some in spec oils.

You could ask for lower Noack, but I agree that the report looks good.

UOA looks great, that oil looks pretty robust.

What kinda of additional HP/tq are you putting out? Looks like the oil had no problem with the added boost...

If there was no oil added during the OCI, and there appears to be no thickening, in this application the Noack for T6 is a non factor.

OP, was there any oil added during the OCI and/or did you notice a significant change on the dipstick?

hey everyone

Thank you for great comments!

to Answer some questions

this is early 2013 GLI, 2.0 TSI EA888 motor.

Unitronics Stage 2. Put down 268hp and 295tq on dyno.

NO oil was added during the OCI

. Just straight 5qt's oil fill for this OCI and ran hard the entire time.

I have a bottle of the new Castrol 0w40 that I might run on next OCI. to see how good T6 stacks against this benchmark.
