I've been using this and like a lot. Doesnt' leave an obnoxious film behind. Cleans well and smells good.

That stuff is way overpriced.

Just use an all-purpose cleaner, such as Optimum Power Clean.

$30 or so a gallon, mixed 3:1, will get you 4 gallons of cleaner that will be far more useful for a variety of things - including those engine bay details that you love.

Oh, and if a cleaner leaves a film, just do a quick wipe-down using a damp towel.
