FWIW I used them on my son's 2WD Dodge Dakota and they are holding up well. No noises and long pad life. I think the truck has over 50K miles on the pads, but they probably will have to be replaced by next inspection.
Thoughts on Wagner Thermoquiet brake pads/shoes?

^^^^Nice results on long term report, mirrors my experience posted earlier in the thread over a shorter time frame. And zero issues with the TQ's built in shim design.
Never had an issue in multiple platforms with the built in shim. Routinely get over 50,000 miles of service with no squeaks or problems. The last set I installed delivered 75,000 miles before needing replacement, which mirrored the OEM pads.
The only set that ever squeaked on me did so when the hub unit bearing went bad and allowed play. Not the pads fault.
