HiTec 9300 series - multi function additives

While researching for another thread, came across this.

Another of Afton's sheets, giving a little information on how things work.

Note, they are a multi function additive, for S*/C*...higher treat rate, higher spec, e.g. SG to SL by varying additive rate from 4.9 to 6.8%...have optional additives to boost TBN, and another for wet clutches....and carry pre-approvals on engine tests.

I don't think going past SL, with the reductions in additve rates you can get there by an increase in a traditional additive pack like here.

(e.g., and not implying anything wrt the additive here, Castrol edge 5W30 A3/B4 is "only" SL, because it isn't dropping the P down to SM/SN standards).
