Difference Between These Fluids????

I'm wondering if it would be ok to use this amsoil for my hydro fluid on my Z-Trak 950?

My next door neighbor is the general manager for a John Deere dealership.

He tells me to just use the HyGard fluid, and that there is no benefit in looking for alternatives. He's seen the end result of when an inferior/wrong spec fluid is used, over and over again.

Considering that I only buy a couple of gallons, every other year, there's no financial benefit in this for him or Deere.

And in all honesty, the HyGard is not that expensive.

use the Amsoil fluid, it will NOT let you down, they make a very good Hydraulic fluid.

I see what your saying. I had switched to amsoil though to try and make a 1 stop shop. Thats the only reason for asking.
