This ASF-45 filter was used as a flush filter so it was only on the 2001 F150 for 20 min at 1k rpm and a bottle of AMSOIL flush was used. The engine has 190k miles on it and the oil had 4k miles which was Valvoline NexGen 5w-20. By the looks of it, the ASF is built well.

The Performax cam off a 2005 F150, no idea what the mileage is on it or what oil used but according to the sticker in the window it had 5k miiles on it.

While I don't have the filter in my hand, I would agree. Some filters would have a metal crimp on the seam, this one was probably just glued. If so, these filters did the job that they were supposed to.
