Nice. I've always wanted to take a trip back east to see Maine.
It many ways, these pics reminds me of the San Juan Islands out here on the west coast.

Nice pictures. I did a lot of snowmobiling in Maine, its one of my favorite places.
Close to there is Reid State Park; a great place to go on Memorial Day if you don't mind the other 50 people on two miles of beach and water that will make your legs bluegrey

There is nothing like a day at a beach like that. For those who have never had the opportunity, it is difficult to describe the massive sensory overload just a few hours offers.
Bright sun, vivid colors, eyes squinting, endless views.
Cool sometimes, cold breeze, with radiant sun warming the skin.
Hot sand to trudge through down to the chilly water, stepping on shells and seaweed squishing between the toes.
The constant waves crashing, seagulls squawking, wind blowing.
The smell of salt air, kelp
A priceless experience IMHO.
