I cannot locate a gasket for the water neck. This is where the upper radiator house meets the block. I'm going to install a new radiator and want to flush the block and refill with 50% dIstilled and antifreeze but want to make sure I have all leaks taken care of. Any advice

I had previously used O' Reillys brand water neck sealant, I've used it twice and still has a slow leak. I believe that leak exacerbated the leak in the radiator.

I'm starting a job there Tuesday so I'll be picking it up along with the radiator. Should I still apply RTV, and what formula is suggested?

If no gasket, use ultra gray or Right Stuff. If using a gasket- no silicone. Prep both surfaces- clean shiny metal, no left over anything.

RTV does require time to cure, but it varies by the type of RTV. Every RTV container will state what the curing time is.

I have heard HondaBond is an amazing RTV, but I never had the chance to use it.
