BRYAN: This sample from your Titan looked pretty good. Universal averages show typical wear
levels for this type of Nissan 5.6L engine after ~5,500 miles. You went ~1000 miles past that, so the iron (which typically increases with mileage) didn't cause us to raise an eyebrow. With other wear metals lining up so nicely with averages, we can only assume you have one happy, healthy engine in your truck.The TBN was strong at 3.3, so extended oil use intervals would be a great idea for you -- otherwise you'd be wasting good oil.Go ~7,500 miles next and check back.

Sounds like a good plan. I don't see an issue with 8500. I'd certainly get another UOA at that point, if everything looks good, you've got a rock solid interval to stick by with confidence.
 
Have u thought about stepping up to M1 5W-30 HM to bring down your wear numbers. The M1 HM would probably do better in that engine considering the miles
