Just bought a set of PureContact Continentals for my 2013 Sonata. Tires were manufactured 201508 - so about 3-4 weeks ago. Size P205/65-16.
I'd call that fresh out of the oven.

Hello, The rear tire on my bicycle refused to wear. I went through three fronts.
Grandma said, "The rubber in that tire's mix must've set just right".
Not bad for a lady born in 1899. Grandpa did sell hardware for a bit.

May your fresh tires last like that. A good recipe, a good chef. Kira

How do you interpret the date?

The "08" is probably the 8th week in 2015.

I think you go by the last four... which is 1508. With 15 being the 15th week and the 08 being the year 2008. So April of 2008.

DOT Code "A33P WBF3 0815" Made in USA

Using last 4 numbers of the DOT number - first 2 digits week of the year and last 2 digits show year manufactured.

Happy to see made in USA.

Thanks!
Putting them on the car in a few days - I am still on my winter tires with steel wheels.

The OEM Kuhmos were down to 5/32nds, worn to a rib tire (no siping left) and terrible road noise. Had about 25,000 miles on them, mostly highway. Not a recommended tire.

that was a misfire in the original post obviously

for example all 4 of my yokohama geolandar at/s are 0215

or about 10 weeks ago.

but the code is n150215
