Changing diet

I was a heavy kid when I was younger. In my mid-teens, I started eating healthy and lost weight. Felt great!

Then in my early 20s (23), I switched jobs and put on a lot weight. Felt not so great. Had all sorts of health problems pop up.

The professional pill-pushers tried to throw a barrage of medications at me.

I started eating healthy. It's amazing how much better I feel by eating healthy and exercising almost daily.

Watching my sodium intake and daily exercise (and a lot of water) seems to keep the blood pressure in check.

I eat a LOT of brown rice and beans. Protein and fiber - very good for you!

Lean meats - chicken , beef, turkey.

The Sugar levels are good again. But I pay a lot of attention to GI of foods now to avoid an insulin spike.
