Gumout Regane gets darker with age

I found a bottle of Regane on my shelf that I bought about a year ago and it was a few shades darker than the one I recently bought. I remember it being lighter when I bought it so it definitely has changed. Would this be less effective now?.

Is the new one exactly the same except for the color? I had a bunch of Regane about 2-3 years old prior to the current 2x concentrate smaller bottles and the new ones are a tad darker... some of that difference could come from the clear bottle itself.

Regardless, I'd still use it.
