I can't comment on vehicles I've ridden in...just ones I've owned.

1) My 1995 Nissan truck. Bought with 172k; sold to my brother at 190k or so; sold out of the family at 210k or so.

2) My 1997 Dodge Dakota. Bought with 174k; sold out of the family at 185k or so.

3) My 1997 Cadillac Seville. My mother bought with 42k; I bought it at about 80k; sold it to my brother at about 145k; he traded it for a new CTS at about 170k.

4) Our 2005 Acura MDX. My folks bought new; we bought it at about 58k. It has 120k now.

5) Our 2008 Honda CR-V. We bought it at 46k. It has 99k now.

I had to retire a SAAB 900 at 420K. Engine cradle rusted out. Still had the factory manual transmission, Bottom end of the engine intact.

1973 Oldsmobile Omega - 297k
1977 Dodge Monaco - 316k
1990 Pontiac Grand Prix - 218k
1999 Dodge Ram - 235k

All original drivetrain, no rebuilds or overhauls.

96 F150 425k miles original engine(5.8) and trans. Late 90's-early 00's E250 original engine (7.3 PSD) don't know about the transmission though.

My dads 1990 Delta 88 had over 500,000 on it when he gave it to one of my nephews.

My 1987 Olds Toronado Trofeo had 350,000 when I sold it to get money for a down payment on a 3000GT.

Friend's 1997 Nissan Altima has over 400,000 on it and it's still going strong.

When I was working at a dealership I saw a 98 F150 2wd with 440k on it come through on a trade.

I got 280k on a 92 Riviera before the trans died as far as personal cars go.

I work with a guy who has a late 90's Dakota 3.9 automatic with 450K miles on it.
The highest mileage I personally have kept a car was only 150K+ miles. That was a 1984 Buick Skyhawk 2.0 4 speed.

2000 GMC 6.6 diesel- well over 280k now
96 Pontiac sunfire- right around 300k
Jeep Cherokee- 285k

All original engines and transmissions in these.
