I msg'd PurOl via FB about why they recommend their oils for today's modern engines that are using rollers and not flatt tappet cams. PurOl oils have a very high amount of ZDP, which can be corrossive in some instances.

Does anyone have any links to the ZDP/Corrosion topic?

PurOl's response to me was that rollers still need protections in their bearings for longevity. High zinc is also critical for ring life and piston skirt protection. (Of course, but isn't this assuming modern additives can do this too?)
