meguin vs liqui moly

Is it true that meguin and liqui moly is same producent but in different label?

Looks like sister companys to me. It appears as LM being the upper tier brand. I also noted that meguin products are fewer than LM and are only in 250ml cans vs the 300ml standard from Liquimoly.

Liqui Moly used to rebrand and resell mostly Meguin oils. Business went well enough that they could buy their main supplier some years ago.
