Viscosity is a physical entity involved in many sciences and not just lubricants.

This equation model "provides a solution to the axisymmetric angular momentum equation, by assuming the inward radial advection of angular momentum is balanced by outward radial diffusion of angular momentum by viscosity."

What is the name of this equation AND what current and specific scientific research is this equation being applied to?

Hint 1: This equation is named after the two researchers who extensively investigated the theory of turbulence.

Hint 2: This specific and current scientific research is related to public safety.

That it is and Hokiefyd wins the Piston Cup Lapel Pin.

I thought this might be a timely question since tornado season is quickly approaching.

It was originally thought that wind fields around a tornado were symmetrical, I.E., the same on approach, passing, and retreat.

The latest VORTEXII investigation found that this was not the case as had been predicted by the Burgers-Rott equation in 1958.

How friction, bends and junctions cause turbulence affecting
the flow of a fluid?
The above would also heat the fluid, changing everything.
All in the Warp Thesis.
Way over my head thankfully.
