On Saturday while I doing cleaning and lubrication to the chain I found that there were two o-rings broken and that part of the chain was looser than the other.
The sprockets are in perfect condition.
I will change the string by a superior quality.
My question is about compatibility between chains.
My bike has a R428HBSX made by LGB (India) and if possible I want to replace it with a DID428VX.
It is possible? I consider something else?

Thank You.

Since they are both 428 size chains they should be compatible. Personally I always change sprockets and chain together. But since your sprockets and are changing your chain due to failure not wear, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If your replacing the whole chain with matching master, that's okay. but masters and pin diameter can vary with chains of the same size. Also the vx DID is their economy line. If you want better step up to a vm or zvm line, if its even offered in a 428

There are only 3 models of chains 428 in the catalog of DID, two without o-ring and the other is the VX, and the latter comes with a master link:

Is there any another brand that sells 428, but high quality?

Thank You.
