Dude, the Expedition weighs like 6,000lbs, it is almost twice as heavy as the Blazer. With decent rubber it is a beast in the snow.

This picture is from last winter; it was the first day the roads were clean and dry. Otherwise this one stays in the garage.

We haven't had more than about 4 inches of snow this season yet...

Good looking truck.

Is this that silvery green color? Probably one of my favorite Ford colors out there IMO.

Out on a trail in the woods.

Skinny snow tires ... make snow wheeling interesting! Not enough wheel speed and you won't move, too much and you dig yourself in to the axles.

What size are they? They don't look overly skinny in the pic.

WAG: 31×10.5R15LT - like my similar-looking (kinda) S10 Blazer Tahoe LT

215/85R16

These tires are on their last winter (dryrotted sidewalls). I'm going to be going to 235/85R16 mud tires in the spring (already have a set of mud tires in this 215 size as well). I think I will just add lots and lots of sipes to the 235 mud tires when the time comes... instead of buying a set of snow tires for something that rarely gets driven in the snow.

That wasn't even the worst accident.

out of the 25-30 I saw.
