Oops! Sorry about that. A friend of mine had a '68 Firebird when we were in high school. The plug was right at the front end of the pan and they put such large speed bumps in our school parking lot that his oil pan got dented and the plug would no longer seal. He found this thing that looked like a thick rubber bulb. It came with a plastic tool you used to push on the inside to stretch the bulb thinner. Once it was through the hole in the pan you let it expand. I believe that it worked well and it was quick and easy to install and remove. I just don't know what it is called or if they even make them anymore.
