2005 Kymco People 150 Spark plug melted in head

My buddies Scooter typically sees about a 30 mile commute each day. Most of at WOT on lake shore drive in chicago. Top speed something like 55-60mph.

One day while running wide open it died. Oil level was full/correct.

Here is the pic of the plug... Tip is a bit blurry but...

Maybe needed one step colder plug for the extended high speed driving?

What are the chances it works again with just a new plug?

Wow, that looks like more than the plug. Looks like aluminum to me, but is hard to tell. Maybe the piston melted??

Need another picture where we can see what's going on. It looks like something pounded that spark plug.

The first thing I do is replace the OE 'Torch' plug in my Chonda OPE. However that looks like piston material. Then again it looks too 'shiny' to be from the piston. Any odd noises B4 it shut down?

I would pop the head, something really isn't right in there.
It looks like almost half threads are gone on one side? Mechanical damage?
