Only on Bitog is TGMO so revered. They gave you real steak when you ordered cube steak.

Time to duck and cover. LOL

TGMO is also all the rave on Toy sites.
Still, the more I think about it the less likely I am to make any effort in the future to try to find deals on TGMO.
This oil may have a very high VI, but it also has cold performance inferior to M1 AFE.
I wanted to try TGMO and I've now scratched that itch.
There is little that I can see about this oil that should command the veneration it gets from some here.

That says it all. Nicely put.

Toyota Genuine Motor Oil.
It's a Grp III made by XOM to Toyota's spec.
The 0W-20 has an unusually high VI, around 200 IIRC and also a good slug of moly.
This oil is very highly regarded by some members.
I wonder where Caterham is?

I might even try it here in Canada, not sure if it is the same. I heard they were relatively cheap compared to the big brand names.

TGMO is pretty reasonable in Canada as compared to other 0W-20 grade oils.
At the right price, TGMO would make sense, but not at a premium price.

You know, your point covers much of the lubricant market in Canada. If something is easy to find, you're likely to pay a premium for it. If it's some niche product that requires you to buy in bulk or only has one supplier, ironically, it's likely to be the best bargain around.

We have stores here that sell Eneos for cheaper than M1, Syntec, PP, and the like. Go figure.
